Research:
My research interests include Data Mining, Text Mining, Natural Language Processing, Social Network Analysis,
Link Mining/Statistical Relational Learning, and Bioinformatics
Social Network Analysis and Data Mining (SoNADaM) Research Lab.
SoNADaM lab. is established to conduct research on data mining and social network
analysis algorithms. Currently our data mining research efforts focused on text mining
including classification and clustering of Turkish documents. Our aim is to
develop new algorithms or improve existing ones by exploiting semantic
information. Another area of interest is to apply SNA methods to improve the performance of text mining algorithms or vice versa.
We are also interested in Sentiment Analysis.
